In a series of interviews of local Eastern Shore residents in 1982, Salisbury University students and teachers collected folk life material. For this project, Penny Sue Foster collected all sorts of recipes; not just food recipes but also many mock recipes that give directions on personal topics such as marriage, happiness raising children, etc. We can also find some recipes of muskrat, terrapin and other Maryland delicacies in this collection.
